About Jakub

I've been invovlved in various different sized projects requiring skills in React, Unity, Wordpress, ML, Python, SQL, such as a trading bot for a computer game’s in-game market, an e-commerce website or training Convolutional Neural Networks. Concurrently, I engineered my Bachelor's thesis focused on human face image generation AI systems and human perception of them.

Developed a Python-based rocket launch sequence testing and simulation system, enabling validation of launch procedures and mission-critical operations.

I Worked on an AI-driven tool optimizing product marketing for diverse clients. I Developed and maintained web platforms including bm17.co and sulmaisulma.pl under strict time and budget constraints. Significantly optimized performance, boosting Google Lighthouse scores from ~25 to ~70. I Contributed to full-stack engineering via React, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, delivering an interactive form integrated with Google Sheets API. I leveraged tools like Hotjar, GTM, GSC, GA4, for acquiring big datasets. Figma for layouts, as well as video editing software.

I contributed to the development of an AI-powered tool designed to learn automatic clothing segmentation from photographs, improving the accuracy of garment extraction for further visual analysis and categorization. I made an app using React Native and Redux that allowed access to the clothing image database and extraction of the main image data and attributes.

I completed my first apprenticeships where I applied foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build websites and custom WordPress themes, gaining hands-on experience with tools such as ACF. I contributed to several projects, including my first official website (zaczytani.org).
